When we are looking to get away and enjoy nature, the Grapevine Botanical Gardens is our go to. It's not large and overwhelming like some of other Botanical Gardens I have been to. There are lots of areas with seating so you can sit back and relax enjoying everything that nature has to offer. I especially like the Koi fish pond which puts them up close and personal. If you are looking for a quaint little getaway that's free, I recommend GBG.
happened on this little park and it was a nice get away. Sadly we were here when the park was dormant, but still a nice walk.
They have really upgraded this little park from 25 years ago. It is so beautiful and I see families taking pictures there all the time as there is always a change in the flowers blooming. Go and enjoy a nice relaxing stroll or take the kiddos on the monkey bars and swings. You will enjoy your time there. Try buying your lunch then take it to the park for a quick picnic. It a great little spot.
Not very big, but nice and quiet. Great for family and walking pet. I visit there often. Wedding pictures can be taken for a price
This is a great little park with a lot of nice shaded areas. We enjoy an evening stroll through the gardens, and have brought picnics here. There is a playground next door to entertain the little kids. This place is not big, but it is nice and the best part is it's free!
This is a small but well kept garden with plenty of parking. There is plenty of shade, so a summer visit is possible too!
This is the prettiest place to take a walk in Grapevine. This land used to be part of the Nash Farm original land. Over time Nash Farm sold off land and shrank in size. Grapevine Botanical Gardens is about 10 acres large. There is a fountain area with seating. Large green spaces to frolic. A nature walk through the forested area. Two small bridges that cross over the creek. A koi pond and a machine to buy koi fish food for a quarter. Also a stone stage with a roof that is used for weddings or local concerts. While this area is not the largest park you will ever see, the park is lovely and well maintained. If you find yourself in the area and need some fresh air, stop and take a walk.
The Grapevine Botanical Garden is a quaint, centrally located park with a playground for the kids. The park itself is easily accessible and free! The grounds are wonderfully kept and there are almost always flowers blooming with each season. This is a great place for a family outing or picnic. Many people come here to take family photos.
It is a nice little distraction to the other things to do in Grapevine. It is a small, but we maintained park. We saw tons of butterflies and a lot of unusual plants and flowers.
Though smaller than some other city gardens, we had a wonderful time walking through enjoying nature on a cooler September morning. The gardens are beautifully manicured with wide walking paths. Most plants are labeled. It would be nice if the trees were labeled too. My kids (2 & 5) had a great time. There is no charge for parking or admission. You can purchase fish food for 25 cents. The gardens are attached to a wonderful playground. My favorite spot was a beautiful prayer garden - amazing view w/ the sun peaking through the trees. A great time for prayer and thanksgiving!
Grapevine Botanical Garden is quiant and a cute place to visit with a packed lunch there is a play ground for children and the flowers are pretty worth stopping by
Always a great stop, for a few minutes or a couple of hours. Well maintained and you will forget that it's in the middle of the city. Take your camera and go every season.
My brother and I took my mom here for her 90th birthday and it was so special. She loves flowers and outdoors and it did not disappoint. We were there in March and so it was cool but sunny. The fact it is a free exhibit makes it even sweeter. Love this place and will take any out of town visitors there as well!
Gorgeous! Great date night walking, dog friendly, kid friendly, just friendly!!!! We'll kept. Definitely worth a visit.
Enjoyed walking through the gardens - well kept, nicely labeled, a nice oasis of serenity. Nice park nearby. Bring bug spray :)
