the magnolia stroll

The idea of the stroll is great and I love how the "city" creates events for it. I think it would be great if the business bordering the stroll would integrate more with it. I don't like how the south end of the stroll simply ends and there is no sidewalk connection to the historic center/train or Unity Park.

The local Renaissance Fair had sponsored the stroll to promote the Fair. There were many people in costume and playing music etc. We had not visited the Stroll before and were surprised to see how well it was organized. It even passed in front of a micro-brewery that was offering free tastings. We enjoyed out time and will look for other specials.

The Magnolia Stroll was developed to add a public walking path to the old town Magnolia area. The Stroll provides access to restaurants and the little shops along FM 1774. It ends at a grassy courtyard with a gazebo. The town will host local parades and celebrations here occasionally. It's a great addition to his small town.
