Our family passed through Buffalo and spent the afternoon with the owners, Justin and Gina, and their family. The ice cream shop is charming and relaxed--visitors can have a cone (huge portions!) and enjoy playing board games and visiting. The mini-golf course is super fun with unique holes I've never seen anywhere else, and unusual angles that make this really entertaining for all ages. Be sure to sample Gina's fudge--your taste buds will be happy for days! If you're traveling along I-90 be sure to stop in Buffalo!

this place was so cute. it was nice to stop for a break here. Let the kids stretch their legs and play some putt putt golf while I enjoyed some icecream and the most delicious fudge. Even got to talk to the owner a little bit. such wonderfully nice people. A must visit on any trip

Be sure and stop in to the club house before and, or, after your round of golf. This is one of Buffalo's best kept secrets. A lot of fun to relax and have a decent bite to eat. Also a great place to get a refreshing beverage. I go here even when I am not playing.

Fantastic ice cream and a great little putt putt golf place! If you stay at Hampton inn you get half off the golf and a free cookie with a cone. Half off for our family of 4 was $6 total!!! The holes are not too difficult and the grounds are well kept. We were told by the hotel that this is a seasonal place but there was a sign on the door that said they were looking for employees to be open year round.

If you like ice cream, stop by Creekside Clubhouse & Greens in Buffalo, Wyoming. Wooden bears slurping away at giant cones greet visitors at the door, while black & white tiles and shining red & chrome chairs make customers wonder when either Elvis or a soda jerk will be popping up behind the counter. A family-owned business, CC&G is owned & operated by Justin & Gina, who can been seen smiling and dishing out luscious ice cream, building the "Dugout" (a concoction of Fritos, chili and cheese which should mandate spoons), serving up big beefy hot dogs and ....did I mention a LOT of ice cream? Cotton Candy (both the ice cream flavor and the puffy wisped sugar kind) and Sour Splash are popular choices for little tikes, while adults can savor everything from Lemon Meringue, Huckleberry and Cake Batter to Death By Chocolate and New York Cheesecake. For portion control fanatics, watch out: The servings for a "single" cone are the size of a double-scoop anywhere else in town, and as for the milkshakes, well...bring a snowshovel. They're amazing. If it is hot, this is probably the best place to be in Buffalo. For a real challenge, try getting through the charming mini-golf course while holding a gargantuan waffle cone. Count a stroke off each hole if you putt one-handed and avoid "Trickle-Down" coating on your other hand. The course was designed by a rather sneakily creative golfer: It looks easy, but what appears to be simple straight putts are full of deceptive eye-benders. Four inches doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize that the hole you thought was at the top of the hill is actually just offset, and your ball is merrily galloping down the other side, snickering at your dreams of par. There's another hole with a clear path down two double diamonds - clear only IF you manage a perfect putt...otherwise, your ball just became a neon-colored kangaroo with Olympic gymnast aspirations, while you are now eating penalty strokes instead of a sugar cone full of Chocolate Peanut Butter. If you're looking for a moment of nostalgic relaxation, the Clubhouse is stocked with board games and interesting items, as well as flavored popcorn and interesting people. Ask Justin about fly-fishing in the creek from which the Clubhouse gets its name- there are walking trails just outside, and I've personally seen a young fisherman walking away with beautifully colorful 18-inch brown trout. For a great date night, a noisy competitive time with friends, a fun family outing, or if you simply find your stomach yowling for better ice cream than you'll ever be able to pick up at the grocery store, head to the Creekside Clubhouse & Greens. You won't find a nicer place in Buffalo!
