We have stayed in the cabins as a family for 3 years in a row now. Each persons family gets their own cabin so I have seen a lot of them. They are nice, clean, smell good, spacious, and I recommend. You can cook, grill, fish, firepit, watch tv, play wii, sleep well, shower, do laundry, relax at the pool, hot tub, or swim up bar, have a picnic, go to eat at braccos, have a fun drink on the water, sit on the docks, dock your boat, rent a hoist, park your trailer, and the list goes on. Definitely not roughing it.
Nothing over 3'6" deep. 47" + can ride the tube & body slides! Our small 9yo son could finally be a Big kid! Mom & Dad had fun too!!Regular room no refrigerator or microwave else great!!
The kids play area was great with many options for all ages. I also liked the lazy river where I could float along with my little one when we needed a break from climbing all over the play area.
This is a wonderful indoor water park. There is a large water play ground in the center which was great for my 2 and 5 year olds who don't know how to swim yet. There is a deeper pool with balance floats to walk on and water basketball. There are two large slides for the bigger kids. And a river to float in with tubes. It's $15 to swim and $5 to just sit and supervise, but it's worth the price.
Thanks to a recent renovation, this is a much improved experience. We love that they keep the water nice and warm. We took our 1 and 5 yr old granddaughters here. The water slides are fun, the shallow pool area is large, and the lazy river is a hit for the adults as well. The outside pool wasn't open yet. We didn't try the food, as we were staying at the condos. Plenty of towels and tables/chairs to sit at as well.
We drove a hour and half to this water park that everyone told us about and the kids were so excited. We get there to find out that they were closing at noon! We arrived at 11:00. The cost for kids and adults is ridiculous for any other day to be there so we were coming on a Sunday so it would only cost us 5.00 person instead of 15.00 for a family of 5.... we thought that Sunday would be a great time for a family day it clearly was not! I was not impressed with driving all that way for nothing. Sundays are family days so why would you close down early on a sunday?? Plus it's the only day where you guys don't charge a arm and leg to get in!!!! I would think you would finish out strong on that last wk of being open for 3 wks.... guess not!! Won't be coming back to this joke!
Overall, the water park was very nice. There was plenty to do for my 5 and 7 year old, and once my 1 year old got used to it he was having a blast as well. Both of my older kids spent a lot of time in the lazy river, it was perfect for them. This lazy river is not so deep that kids are in danger if they fall off a tube, max 3 ft, or float in a life jacket. It does get very crowed though. There are two slides that lead to the lazy river as well, both are very fast and very fun. If I had any complaint about the pool area, it would be that the tubes were often flat or very deflated, and there was a lot of sand on the bottom of the kids wading pool. If you are not staying in the hotel I would suggest wearing your swimwear to the pool, there is not much for a locker room and changing area. I found those to be minor distractions. We would love to go again and I feel this was a good value. We got the package through a Keloland Spotlight deal and will be looking out for that again.
Towels weren't always available in pool area, had to ask a couple of times for more towels. They seemed to be under staffed. Cantina was great. It had good pizza and a pretty extensive list of cocktails for adults.
We went to Bridges Bay and paid the daily rate of $15 because we didn't stay at their hotel. Customer service on the phone at the front desk of e hotel wasn't helpful but the lady at the park was very helpful. We did have to pay the full $15 dAily pass for our 2 1/2 year old which i thought was a little excessive (1 year and up). The indoor and outdoor watermark are suited for age 10 and under. They had a blast. Water levels aren't deeper than 4 foot anywhere in the indoor or outdoor. My kids loved the indoor slides, the tubes and the rope/lily pad challenge. The outdoor bridge is a little step to walk over. There is a swim up bar and you can order to-go food from Braccos restaurant and have them bring it to your chairs or table. Outside Bathroom is very convenient. I was hoping that the indoor and outdoor POOLS would have been connected. All in all a great experience for my family (6,5 and 2 year old). We will be returning.
We go every year with family and the small children love it. My only caution is that we did have to complain as there was not a lifeguard in site. After about 15 minutes one did show up.For that reason I am giving the lower score as safety is so important.
A little small for older kids, but if you have kids under 11 they could have a blast all day long. They have several tubes you can slide in and a small lazy river.
My 3 and 5 year old had a blast at the water park, but the resort was always out of towels, and the outdoor pool was dirty. The indoor water park was great for little ones though
A great place to take the kids and one of the best indoor waterparks I have been to
Okoboji is a great place and we love to go to waterparks. So this was fun for our family.
We stayed at Bridges Bay Resort and spent much of the weekend in the water park. It was perfect for all of the kids (from 2 to 13) and we had a great time. It would have been nice if grandma and grandpa could've sat and watched the kids without paying (the sitting fee was $5) but we understood and they were very polite about it.
