breezy hills vineyard and winery

This winery advertises itself on the highway very well. The signs caught our attention and led us to this old hog barn turned into winery on a farm. It was very easy to find. When you walk in the building there is the tasting bar, stuff for sale and an adjoining room for small parties. Outside there is a pergola with picnic tables to sit at. The two ladies that were serving the tastings were a delight to talk to. We enjoyed the conversation as much as the wine!! Their wines are very good especially if you like sweeter wines. We usually just buy 2 bottles, but we walked out with 4! We would definitely visit again.

Used a Groupon to try the Breezy Hills Vineyard and Winery and will definitely go back again. Tasted five wines plus a full glass and a plate with pistachios, cheese, and chocolates. The wine was excellent, bought two bottles to take home. Prices were reasonable also. Definitely worth the trip!

We stopped here on a whim, on our way to another destination, and arrived 20 minuted before they were scheduled to open. We were welcomed in by the owners' son, who promptly served us our samples. Despite not having a lot of dry wines, our preferance, we found numerous that we liked and not only purchased 4 bottles, but also walked out with some accessories. The staff was friendly and accommodating. If we drive past again, we'll definitely stop for another visit.

It is great to see the winery business increase in Iowa and Breezy Hill is an example of that greatness. Nice atmosphere.
