We love going here! Today was a great day for viewing the deer. We saw at least 8 deer todayIt is a great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet and to just get away! It is great for walking at a good pace to exercise. Once everything starts to bloom and the water is refilled it will be beautiful!

This park is one of the true "gems" of the Boise park system. A very generous gift of land and the cost of improvements made by the Albertson family turned a horse pasture into a beautiful park just a short walk from our Boise River, our greenbelt and Julia Davis Park. The park has nice walking paths, "gazebos" arbors, ponds, benches, pick-nick tables and the like. It also serves as a great place for family photographs as there are backdrops that will suit everything from engagement pictures to multi-generation gatherings. It is also a popular place for weddings. In the spring it is a fun place to go to watch the baby ducks and goslings exploring and feeding. Note: If you want to bring a dog to the park check when it is allowed as the park is often off limits to them. Also use common sense and pay attention to what is happening around you as the woods that shelter the wildlife that live there can also shelter "bad actors" looking to prey on others.

This is a walking park with birds and wildlife. No fire pits or picnic tables or sports fields. The spring blossom is gorgeous and all the water birds are great. Come back in the Fall or wow colors. Come in the summer for a cool evening stroll. Watch the mule deer in the winter snow.

Paths intertwine throughout this beautiful park. Lots of wildlife to observe and places to rest, be quiet and watch.

Great place to watch birds of all sorts at an idyllic oasis in the heart of the city. Saw a yellow- headed blackbird here years ago and have been looking for one ever since. Turtles, too!

Beautiful grounds for gathering the family together for some outdoor photo sessions. Nice walking paths and well maintained.

Popular spot for photos and weddings. Beautiful all seasons. I love all the wildlife, but beware there is a lot of goose poop!

This is a great park for a walk nearly any time of day. I have enjoyed seeing a variety of wildlife as well as the variety of paths, pond areas, and vegetation. This park has a number of great spots for portraits, both casual and more formal, too. The key is to make an exploration trip to the park to check location and light to dial in optimum timing for your shoot. Plenty of big trees with shade, too - nice on those hotter summer days.

A friend and I went to the Kathryn Albertson Park because traffic was blocking the entrance to the Ann Morrison Park across the street. The park doesn't look like much from the street or parking lot, but that is only because the beautiful place is hidden by trees. This park is considered a nature preserve and is an amazing place to view wildlife. During our trip (about 5 minutes into the visit) we came across a mother deer and young. There are paved trails that lead one through the park, across footbridges, around ponds, and through beautiful structures and tree canopies. There are many people (of all ages) using the path but the place has never seemed crowded. There are a few large gazebo & pergola structures in the park that are used for weddings and other parties. This is a great park to spend an hour or so while killing time or just enjoying the outdoors.

This is a beautiful park. Every time I go, there are people having their photos taken by the pretty foliage. I like to go for the birding which is pretty darn good. Some of the ponds were coated with ice, today, I saw a belted Kingfisher, Wood ducks, Cooper's hawk, mallards, robins, tons of Canadian geese...you get the idea. Nice sidewalks if someone is in wheelchair or needs level surface.

Great park to take stroll, walk or run. Beautiful area to get married. Lots of wildlife - birds, deer, raccoons and chickens. A must see area.

Kathryn Albertson park is great for birders. I have seen a myriad of bird species within the confines of this park including a Western Screech Owl, Hooded Merganser, Merlin, and so many others. It's a wonderful loop, mature trees run along the stone paths with several benches along the way to stop and absorb your surroundings.

The park is full of mature trees and wild birds. The paths are paved, so it's perfect for strollers or wheel chairs.

Mid-morning walk second week Sept. Out of town visititor. Well landscaped ponds and pathways. Worth the hour visit.

This park is dedicated to nature and wildlife. It is mostly a wetland so there are lots of waterfowl. It is a lovely place to stroll around and enjoy the solitude in the middle of a city.
