Late October sunny day on the mighty Ocoee River! I thought it would be too cold but it was perfect! What a great ride! Josh is an amazing guide! We have used a few other outfitters but this one was the best!

We have rafted with several outfitters in the Ocoee area but keep coming back to AU. The guides are great with making scardy cats like me squeal with joy and not fear. We all had a blast from age 13 to 66.

This is my third rafting experience and has been the best yet. (The previous were in Menominee River in Wsconsin and Tista gorge in India). The rapids were Class III and IV right as you hit the water and all the way through for 5 miles, covered in 3 hours, with plenty of heart throbbing falls and drenching. Worth every penny for the (casual) rafters.The guides are extremely well experienced with the course and they were very experiences too. The body language of the guides were playful, yet instilled caution in us. They have a pretty healthy camaraderie. For us, they made sure that we get the right amount of thrill, yet never exceeding limits, and made the raft go into the rough waters on several rounds depending customized to the demands and moods of the passengers in that particular raft. For more experienced groups they also arrange for customized trips with more experienced guides.Absolutely recommended!

Leon was a great guide! This was a trip for my daughter's 13 birthday. She had a great time, got soaked just enough to still be fun. Definitely bring an extra set of clothes. For the colder days (60 degrees), rent or bring a wetsuit. The rental fee is very reasonable at $10 ea.

I have rafted with several different rafting groups, but these guys are the best!!! They deliver a fun, exciting experience every time!! They offer great deals throughout the season that make it very affordable. I've probably rafted with this outfit at least 5 times, each time with a different guide and each time has been an amazing time!! All the guides seem to be very knowledgeable about the river rapids. I recommend you paddle hard, ride the bull, and be ready to have an awesome trip!!

We had an awesome time with our guide Leon. He was super funny and really knew what he was doing on the water. We did the 5 mile trip and sat right in the front and got soaked. There are lots of level 3 and 4 Rapids throughout the trip. It's a great experience. Make sure you bring an extra set of clothes and a towel.

This company is wonderful! We have rafted with other companies before and had a great time but the guides really do take it to another level. Leon was our guide and was the best guide we have had thus far. He was very personable and experienced. He made us feel very well taken care of and I really enjoyed the additional information he provided about the river and rafting itself. We are looking forward to going back and are now wanting to do the all day rafting because our experience was so wonderful. Thanks Adventures Unlimited for going the extra mile for your customers!

Not only was AU a great outfitter, but their rate was unbeatable! Ask for Rev. Dean the Dunking Machine! You will NOT be disappointed!

The actual rafting was ok.That is why I am giving it two stars instead of one. Be aware that they grounds, buses, and equipment are dirty and smelly. The equipment (helmets, oars, and life jackets) are not sanitized or even washed off between customers. When you are finished with them you just throw them back in a bin for the next person to use. They stink and they are dirty! They could at least have a big sanitizing water bin to dip them in between uses.The campground area was full of people that all seemed drunk and seemed like they would be at home in Germany in 1940. We felt unsafe there and couldn't get out of there fast enough after the rafting was over. I have no idea how this place gets the fabulous reviews that it does.

My friend and I went rafting together to celebrate our birthdays and it was fantastic! The whole experience exceeded our expectations. I'd attribute that a lot to our experienced guide, Josh Lemon. If you want to have an adventurous ride with a guy who knows the river really well ride with him! We felt safe while trying some wild lines through the white water! We will be back - thanks again, Josh!

We just got back from a day trip from Birmingham, AL to go white water rafting on the Ocoee. I have been wanting to do this for 25 years (!) but was always too busy with work, raising kids, the usual. Now our kids are 13 and 15 and old enough to go, so we made a day of it. It was about a 3.5 hour drive from Birmingham, and we did the 5.5 mile river run that took about 3 hours, so it was totally do-able in a day. Bruce was our awesome raft guide and kept offering up fun challenges, like "surfing", sitting on the very front of the raft as we went down the rapids, and jumping out of the raft for a quick swim about half way through. He even did a back flip off a rock for our entertainment! He was extremely knowledgeable and made it very fun and safe. Our 13 year old daughter was pretty apprehensive at first, but by the end she was sitting at the very front of the raft, getting soaked and having a blast. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and we got to enjoy it on some of the quieter parts of the ride. I can't wait to go back and do a longer ride. We also purchased the CD of the pictures they take as you go through one of the rapids. It is about $40 but totally worth it for the great memories. I highly recommend this experience and will definitely go again!

We rafted the full Ocoee today and the day couldn't have been more perfect. We hit the jackpot by gettting Leon as our guide. He was kind, informative, funny, and really made the experience memorable. We will be back!

I had a great time white water rafting here. My boyfriend and I went in early September using a Groupon. I had been before, but with a different company, and it was my boyfriends first time rafting. We had so much fun! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely go again! There was even some festival going on there. There was live music and they had cabins and camp areas available to rent.

This was my 2nd trip with Adventures Unlimited, and I wouldn't consider going with anyone else. After several trips down this river, the guides at AL have proven to be the best! Susan and Kyle rock! After a great day of rafting, we visited Whitewater Grill and had some of the BEST fried chicken and biscuits, check it out!

We went to Six Flags the day before and stopped to raft the Ocoee on the way back home, I have to admit the rafting was much more fun than Six Flags. Rev Dean the dunkin' machine was our guide and he made it very enjoyable for my kids. They smiled the whole way down. Our whole group that went down had a great time and splashed each other during the whole trip. We will certainly try this again. The whole process went smooth and Adventures Unlimited has good business going.
