We come here every year during october for the pumpkin patch and love it each time we do, Its about a 45 min drive away but completely worth it to us and this is our 3rd year in a row going, It never gets boring and love the pumpkin shooter!
This is a nice layout afternoon farm for the Nashville City folk. Everything fun is expensive! The entrance line was annoying, since there is two branches and no signs or information on which to be in. I was glad to learn I was not the only person at this farm that was confused as to what was included in my 11$ entrance fee. There was a sign at the check in registers, but after that, you have no idea where or how to pay ( moo carts, kiddy jumper). I was not taking two toddlers back through the entrance line to get voucher tickets for rides. Pig races, next race clock stated next show time at 12, when it was currently 2 pm. A sign posting and having a schedule would be an improvement. Suggested improvements; a cooling station (wind and water spray during hot tempatures), signs stating where you can buy vouchers for attractions. Stay open past halloween ( was told season ended at end of Oct). Water fountain(s) would nice.
We visited Honeysuckle Hill Farm and were extremely impressed with the variety of things to for the whole family. Our granddaughter loved the petting and feeding zoo, pumpkin cannon, and couldn't get enough of the "kiddie" zip line and jumping zone. Our kids had a blast on the zip line and in the fun house. We all liked the market and variety of pumpkins available. This is a great way to spend an autumn afternoon.
Arrived at six on a Saturday and left feeling a bit disappointed around 1030. Completed corn maze in twenty minutes. Waited in line for hour for haunted woods that was extremely sparse in terms of monsters. Felt like a walk. The end was a maze in a building that a group in front of us panicked and turned around. Ended up getting groped. Best part was the wait after for paintball. The line behind us grew very long very quickly. After the line not moving for hour, a large group went to ticket sales and bought speed pass. This made the group behind us angry and security was called . Most interesting part of the night hands down. Much more than shooting 100 paintball for one minute and getting squirted with water by a zombie. Cross your fingers for a Groupon!!!!
My daughter and I wanted to try something new that would help a closer bond!! We arrived and were treated with respect and compassion, our flight captains were very knowledgeable and very patient with us both. We had a BLAST!!! This is a must do if you are in the area.
I visited my niece Memorial Weekend and neither one of us have ever ziplined before. We had such a wonderful experience. Jeff and Justin were such nice guys, helpful, patient, friendly. I would recommend this experience, the sight's were awesome. We both went into this experience open minded but scared and worried about our fear of heights. But the staff was able to assure us to relax and enjoy the ride!!!
Two families had a great experience. Beautiful scenery, helpful instruction and friendly interaction with Jeff, Justin and Bobby. Looking forward to an excursion there in the fall.
We were looking for a way to enjoy the fading fall while the temps were still nice and did we every find it! Clean, safe and what an adrenaline rush!! The views were great and our guides (who we later found out was the owner) were a hoot. I would recommend for novice and thrill seeker alike.
First I will qualify this review with. I had a wonderful time with my family. Here is the issue with Honeysuckle farms. 1. Massive line to pay the $10 or 20.95 entry fee to get in.(each), the bees are absolutely horrible. I asked a staff member about it, and they were complaining as well. I had 6 yellow jackets land on my ankle in line waiting to get in. (time to turn around), the pumpkin train cost $2/each, the cow train cost $1/each, the zip lines $15/each plus lines, lines, lines. So a family of 3, spent about 120.00 to get in a do a few things, oh, I have not had a snack yet, water $2/bottle, Kettle corn $4/bag Ladies Restroom, backed up beyond belief. Corn Maze trampled, horrible. For me it was about getting out with the family which is something I really cherish. Go to your local small farm and pick out a cool pumpkin and spend your money on better zip lines courses , the Nashville Zoo, or a local free park. As a finally disclaimer, if you do not have an issue with a million bees buzzing you, than by all means go support the local economy. They need to do a much better job!!
They have a really good haunted house and lots for youngsters to see and do. The zip line course is just ok. Their double safety lines make for a very slow tour. I've been to several zip line places and this is one I won't do the second time. But if it's your first time, with kids, or you are just not really into it, it would be ok.
A beautiful piece of property. We arrived at 10am. And it was super busy with long lines. We purchased regular admission. Which in my opinion is pricey. However, there is plenty to do for general admission. I wouldn't bother paying for extra's. The kids enjoyed the slides, animals, sand play area, hayride, and bounce area. It was a nice time with the family. We would come again. I rated it a four due to prices and lines.
We waited for a very long period (about 20 minutes) to get in the "learning barn" for the first event which was VERY long. Then we had to wait forever for a long hayride holding our pumpkins. We were left with very little playground time. Lunch tents were unorganized. Been going for years and this may be our last trip with poor reviews shared with our district.
This is a challenging course. Eight zip lines, each different; it is physically challenging. Two rope bridges in the trees, towers to climb but so much fun. The farm is kept up immaculate, their staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, and very skilled. KUDOS TO JUSTIN & AARON.It takes 1.5 to 2 hrs so plan accordingly. The views thru the trees is so beautiful, a creek a few lakes. They have lots there for family fun. Ck out their website and watch the video. You won't be disappointed about all that they have to offer. I am telling everyone I know about it. Great job, a perfect day, thanks so much!!
This was my first zipline tour and I was absolutely thrilled. I took my son this being his second time ziplining and he had a blast also. Our guides, Aaron and Justin, made the zipping fun and enjoyable. They were both knowledgeable and fun! Thanks to them we'll be back for more thrilling zips through trees, over creeks and ponds!
WOW!! What a great adventure! I had an exceptionally great time zipping @ Honeysuckle hill farm with Aaron and Justin they are a hilarious duo. Extremely knowledgeable in their craft of zip both are very patient, kind, and trust worthy. I felt safe the entire time. The farm is way out in Springfield TN a long science ride through the country but nice. The owner was nice and the farm was more than I expected it to be it would be nice place for a family reunion or to bring the kids and hang out. They have play areas ponds and picnic areas. I definitely will go back.
