My husband and I loved walking down to the pub from our Inn. We were able to have a few late night drinks with a great group of locals. Good price, good drinks and Great service! The bar tender/ owner was friendly and a great conversationalist. We felt like a Norm from Cheers by the time we left!

We were headquartered in Bardstown touring the Bourbon Trail and walked into Xavier's one evening. Definitely a local establishment with a large group of regulars, but the patrons and Frankie (owner/bartender) were friendly and welcoming! Frankie knows his stuff, and the prices can't be beat. Had we time, we'd have been back repeatedly, but this is *definitely* a place I'll visit again when in town!

We are always looking for live music and in Bardstown there weren't too many choices, but this place has it and will stay open late. The owner is fun and laid back. They have an outside patio, a couple of tvs its a casual place that really picks up around midnight. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return if we are in Bardstown. There is a cover at the door after 8 or 9:00.

Just a small little bar on the alley behind 3rd Street. The owner, who was also the bartender when we were there, was a lot of fun and a great conversationalist. The other patrons (I think there were 8 of us there at the time) all joined in the fun. Nifty little bar.
