The waterpark is conveintly located off interstate 75 @ exit 11. For $10.00 you can play all day! Water activities for little ones & teens alike. Go carts & Putt Putt Golf are not included in the waterpark fee. Lounge chairs are plentiful but tables with umbrellas are limited. There is a snack bar with handheld snacks, cold drinks & ice cream. A small arcade is located inside as well.
Our family of 6 had a blast at Kentucky Splash. Our kids, ages 2-11, all enjoyed the kid play area, the wave pool, and the lazy river. They LOVED the slides. It was not crowded at all the day we went so there were virtually no lines for any of the slides, which we all had fun on. The price for admission ($10) gets you a bracelet for the whole day. We played for a few hours, went back to our hotel for lunch, and then went back again until they closed. The staff is friendly & very attentive at their respective stations. Everything was super clean, the water was perfect; it was great. There are 5 slides: 3 at one "station", and 2 at another. The set of 3 includes two spiraling, open-top slides that you ride an inner tube down, and the third is a spiraling closed-top slide that you go down on your back (the latter being faster than the other two). At the other station are two very fast, closed-top slides that you go down on your back. This is a great, "smaller" water park & an exceptional deal for the price. We plan to make this a regular trip in our summer.
Clean, best lifeguards I have ever seen at a water park. Very affordable, three kids and one grandma was 33$. Food was very affordable and fresh.
There's not much to do in Williamsburg if you're a traveller so this water park is great and reasonably priced - $10/person or just $3 if, like me, you're a "land lover" and want to just lounge in the sun and not take part in the water activities. Re-entry is possible as long as you keep your bracelet on - should you choose to leave the park for lunch for example. Free parking. The park is not too big but also not too crowded. A few big slides, a kids' area, a wave pool and a really long lazy river. Lot's of free sun beds. Just perfect for a lazy day in the sun to take a break.
For $10 a person, this park is awesome! It is a little small but there is still plenty to do. My son enjoyed the kids area and the wave pool. It was crowded when we went but it was the weekend before school started back. So I would recommend going during the middle of the week.
I took a group of 13 kids to Kentucky Splash Water Park recently. The park is fairly small but it is located in a rural Kentucky community so you shouldn't expect a mega park anyway. The park was clean and seemed properly maintained. I did notice a lack of water fountains, though. I heard there were a couple but I never saw them. I personally think that an outdoor park like this should always have plenty of access to free water to keep people hydrated while they spend hours in the sun. They, of course, have multiple places where you can buy overpriced bottled water and soft drinks. I do really wish this park offered "rain check" passes or discounts and here's why- On the day we went the weather forecast only called for a 30% chance of scattered showers. Once we got there we were in the water for 1 hour when thunder was heard in the distance. Everyone had to get out of the water, understandably. Thunder continued to occasionally happen which kept increasing the time out of the water. An hour and 15 minutes passed then we were finally able to go back in. But a mere 15 minutes later, more thunder. After that you could tell a thunderstorm was about to blow through so we left with 13 disappointed kids. Having spent $150 for only about 1 hour of water park fun, I would have appreciated an offer to come back at a later day for a discounted rate, at least. Oh well.Overall, this water park is certainly worth the visit and I would recommend it.
We took five grandkids recently to this water park. We had a great time. It's very neat and clean. The few staff members I talked to were very friendly. A total of five big slides, the wave pool, and a kids play area. One slide was down for safety reason, but since we went on a Thursday, the lines weren't too long and moved quickly. The only negative I can think of is their website didn't function properly. For $10 pp, I can't really complain about anything else. We didn't eat there.
Took my Grandchildren here a couple of weeks ago for a day trip. Admission price per person is $10.00. No fee for parking. Food prices are reasonable. We ate for less $ 20.00 and that is a great price considering I had teenagers with me. . They do have a lazy river Wave pool/slides, Teenage Granddaughters and I enjoyed , Area for smaller children and is handicapped accessible. I will be taking the rest of my Grandchildren before the school season starts. This is a smaller water park but for the price it is great.. It is easily accessed off of I-75 Just take the Williamsburg , Ky exit. Had a great day for a budget price. Also it is a very clean water park.. Many lifeguards are present.
Read the great reviews online and picked this place as a half way point to meet another family for a weekend trip in July. Seemed like a great water park for young children. Drove almost 5 hours and never got past the parking lot of the water park. They decided to close the whole weekend! Apparently, you need to read the "fine print" that states the management can close the water park for cool temps, thunderstorms, low attendance....basically anything they want. It rained portions of the weekend, but was never thundering or lightning-and you get wet at a water park anyways, right?! We had very disappointed children, and it was unbelievable that you are at their mercy day by day if they open or not. I would highly suggest going somewhere more reliable and that has better business practices.
We had a blast! Plus $10 admission vs. $50 at splash country I'll take $10!! The park is smaller but very clean and kid friendly. My 19 month old loved it all. My mother who is a paraplegic came with us and we parked in handicap parking. While in the park they announced over the speaker that a car with "none handicap tags" where parked in a handicap spot and needed to move or be towed. My mother has been in a wheelchair since I was two years old. All my life handicap parking a big parks or events are a pain. So for them to monitor the handicap parking spots is very good thing in my eyes. (It' paying attention to the little things that make a bigger impression.)
The slides were great! Longest lazy river ever! Huge kids play area...the wave pool was great. Plenty of tubes and lounge chairs. Food was reasonably priced-family of 3 ate for $20 and the cheeseburgers were yummy! Lifeguards were attentive. Free parking. Busy for a Thursday, but had fun! Good day trip and will be back.
For only $10 per person, this is a deal that you cannot miss out on! There are so many things to do here from water slides, to the lazy river, to the kid's splash pad, and the wave pool. They also have some awesome "Hawaiian Ice" which is just a giant snow cone, but it's only $2! I get one every time I come here. The place is also so big that it never really feels like its overcrowded. The only thing is that sometimes the lines at the slides get a little backed up, but that's definitely something you would expect to happen, so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone. I only wish this place was closer to my house so I didn't have to drive an hour and a half to get here. I love this place and can't wait to go back.
Start off with free WiFi! Writing review while at park. Not crowded at all, even with a summer camp bus here. Plenty of loungers and umbrella tables. No lines for slides. We arrived about 1:00 on a Thursday. Been here about 2.5 hours and kids are still enjoying themselves...mostly on lazy river. Drove close to two hours to get here and will come back!
This is a great place to take your family! So many fun things to do here! Great for toddlers also! The park is very clean! The food is cheap also!
Loved that this cost is $10. each to get into this waterpark. It is a great value. We will be returning next yr.
