It's one thing to have a truly great selection of locally crafted beers on hand. It's something else to see the hops growing outside the patio. It's another thing to have an interesting space to serve your customers in, but it's something else to drink in a refurbished barn with a view of the conditioning vats. Add to this better-than-average bar food and a premier location, and you have yourself a must-stop location.

And absolutely perfect little brewery and tap room. The atmosphere is great, a fun bar & taproom plus specialty sandwiches that were most excellent. Very open inside, and kid-friendly enough for a free fooseball table.But, we're here for the beer, and the beer atmosphere is fantastic! Big windows to easily see into the brew rooms, beer medals all around the walls, kegs turned into furniture. Red Lodge Ales also has an outdoor patio open seasonally, which is where the trellises for growing their own hops can be found! The beers are most excellent, and you can get samples, draws, and growlers, including the lines that can be otherwise purchased in bottles at any local store (and at the bar, plus a number of seasonal and tap room exclusives. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the brews and the local area. This is really the kind of place I'd like to come to all the time!

This place is little outside of town but a mandatory stop if you like frothy beverages. I can't vouch for their food as unfortunately their kitchen was closed when we arrived. This place has a great atmosphere and was a great place to toast our first visit to Montana.

Tried several beers, all good (and cold). No TVs here, which I think is nice (but don't go there for a game!) Hip atmosphere and great outdoor seating. Food was yummy and reasonable. Worth the short trip off the main drag. Really cool place.

Travel with a dog and you look for places with outside dining. Many Brew Pubs have outside areas where dogs are welcome. Unfoprtunately

Stopped at the pub for a beer and snack after skiing and really glad we did, great selection of nice beers. Some nice foods to chose from, we had the hummus and loved it. The ladies working we very helpful when trying to select a beer.
