fort boreman park

Fort Boreman has been around for many years ,however it has been only recently that it was developed into the beautiful park that it is. The cannon , building and reinactions are for all to enjoy. Overlooking Parkersburg it was a wonderfiul place for my grandaughter to be married last year

Beautiful views! A must for photographers. Perfect little area for a family picnic, also a small play ground. A lot of people choose to have weddings there. Its just beautiful in summer.

This park is just east of the Ohio River and just south of the Little Kanawha River. It sits atop a large hill and you can walk to the top of the fort to see the confluence of the two rivers. There are some very short trails and picnic area with grills. It is a nice way to see the two cities.
