cajun jack's swamp tours

We had a fun time and Jack and Capt Dawn were a blast! They really know their way around the swamps and had a lot of knowledge about the area.

The trip with Cajun Jack was amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable about the swamp and gives a great tour.

We were looking forward to a swamp tour and saw Cajun Jack's brochure and also checked out his website. He advertises scheduled tours at 2:30 pm each day. We were there on Friday, October 3rd, and got to his boat/office at about 1:50 pm. Nobody there. Waited until 2:35 pm and he never showed up. Sent him an email and he never responded. To this day he's never responded. We were very disappointed.

This was a unique experience. Cajun Jack is definitely a character, it took us a while to translate his cajun dialect. We was very knowledgeable about the local area, swamp life, and all the wildlife that lives in the swamp. Bring a shovel because he can definitely sling the bull, he is a very colorful guide and made the experience memorable. We saw lots of wildlife. He took the boat up to the locals boats so we could see them catching crawfish. We went quite a ways into the swamp where we saw lots of gators and other critters that live out there. Bring CASH, he does not take credit cards.
