Excellent place to walk or take a dog walking. You can circle the Island, so it is impossible to get lost! Surrounded by water every view is beautiful

Just 17 miles south of Boston on Hingham harbor, you can enjoy a pleasant walk and take in some beautiful views. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, this Trustees of Reservations property is pristine. A great place to enjoy with family or friends and of course your dog if you have one. There are plenty of benches spread throughout World's End for you to sit and contemplate all it's beauty. Open all year long and free to Trustees members. Open to the public for a nominal fee.

This is a beautiful area to get in touch with nature right in your own backyard. It's quiet and peaceful for walking, with a number of nice vistas for picnics, painting, or just to sit and relax. The scenery is varied, with both beaches and small forested sections, and the beauty changes with the seasons, as the year goes by. Come for a quiet afternoon and you won't be disappointed.

World's End is a great place for a walk with fantastic scenery and views across the water to Boston and Hull. In the autumn the foliage is really beautiful and in the summer there is plenty of shade from the trees to enjoy a walk, even on the sunniest days! In the winter wrap up warm as the wind coming off the ocean can be fierce! The paths are quite uneven so you'll need sensible shoes (flip flops are not very practical here!) and it's probably not ideal for people who need smooth, flat walking surfaces, however there are plenty of benches for a rest and to take in the views. There are lots of open spaces for kids to run and play (rocks and small hills to climb on) and dogs are allowed, though they need to be on a lead. There are different trails that you can take to increase the length of your walk as required. You do have to pay to park but a year membership to all of the 'Trustees' properties is $67 for a family, which I personally don't think is much to pay to preserve such beautiful outdoor spaces!

It is truly unbelievable that such a scenic piece of land has been left undeveloped for all of these years. So close to Boston and yet a world away with views of the Boston skyline from atop the hill. One of my favorite places to walk or snow shoe. Small fee, well worth it to preserve this treasure.

Worlds End is one of the nicest spots south of Boston to take a walk and enjoy the best of Nature. With views of bays, the ocean and the Boston skyline you can take a nice hike and get some outdoor activity just a few miles from several south shore towns.

Lovely place, but there are FREE locations that offer the same beauty -and then some - for FREE in this same area. The DCR (Commonwealth of MA Park and Rec) has MANY sites as does Audubon (free on Sundays since they don't staff their locations.Not worth the cost nor the travel distance when there are so many other locations so similar and much nicer. Parking is HORRIBLE - don't drive a nice car there unless you want your suspension ruined or your car to bottom out. Parking area is about as nice a dirt trail meant for four-wheeling.

Wonderful place to go for a walk and see a great view of the water and downtown Boston. It cost $6.00 per person

Worlds end is a great place to go hiking. It is a beuatiful place and you can go anytime. People from all over hingham go here. You can also drive you boat in and hike

It is just funny that we live in the Boston area for the past 19 years and never heard of this beautiful park. It is a perfect place to walk, sit on one of many benches, relax, have lunch and enjoy spectacular views of Boston and the bay. Not a hiking trail, more of a beautiful and not too crowded walk. Take a trail to Rocky Neck for nice views. Total of 4 miles of nicely groomed paths. The fee is $6 per person and plenty of parking. We are going there again for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about Worlds End. If you haven't been - you are missing a real treat! It is very close to the center of Hingham but it feels like you are miles away. There is a small charge to park but you can walk for miles and bring a picnic. We have been there several times. There are always a lot of cars in the parking lot - but you don't see many people as you are walking - the place is that big. Great views, great walking paths. Suitable for all ages.

I expected lots of beautiful scenes (as displayed on the attraction's brochure) but there were quite few of them.

For a nice, short walk that brings you away from the city, the World's End is highly recommended. It is just a short drive (15-25 minutes, depending on traffic) south of Boston in Hingham. This coastscape has stunning views of the Boston city skyline as well as Hingham Harbour and Hull. It has lovely landscapes with rolling hills to rocky beaches with various trees with cute little benches to sit at and admire the views. On the way there, you can view and admire some of the mansions on Martin's Lane. Admission is $ 6 per person if you are not a trustee member (maybe a little steep, but once we started walking, we thought it was worth it). Good-sized parking lot. A really nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Went for the summer solstice celebration. It was a beautiful June day capped off with a red orange sunset over the Boston skyline. Walking back to the car, the lights of the carnival in Hull impressed the kids. fun music, little kids (under 10) running all over and making new friends, truly memorable. and the grounds are beautiful too- the farthest point (we didn't make it) takes some time and may be too much for the littlest ones. kids had a good time skipping stones and exploring the marshes. Great place to bring the dog too!
