This place has anything you can imagine. We just purchased the perfect TV stand for our new TV. At Jordans we were able to choose from a bunch and get the one with the exact fit... and the look we wanted. At other places you are lucky if you find even one that fits the bill. The selection of furniture is overwhelming.
We came to Jordan's to visit the Enchanted Village and do the Polar express ride and the Lite show. We came up from Shrewsbury, which is an hour ride. We got to the store 30 minutes after it opened and people were already circling for a parking spot. For whatever reason, the additional parking lot was chained closed. When we finally did get a space, we made our way through the winding path to go to the Enchanted Village. It was already an hour and a half wait, so we didn't go in. We went to the line for the Polar Express Movie and the Lite show. We ordered tickets for both, but they only charged us for PE. In the craziness we didn't notice until the line for the lite show was over two hours. As it was we were waiting for over two hours to get in to PE. So although I cannot rate the Enchanted Village or the Lite Show for this year, it is the same as last year so I will comment. The Lite show is a lot of fun. You sit in super comfy chairs and classic holiday music set to some really great lights. Some dance to the music, some draw pictures. It was a very enjoyable experience. The cost is $5 per person and runs about 15-20 minutes. I saw the original Enchanted Village over 40 years ago at the old Boston Jordan Marsh. Jordan's did a fantastic job restoring the exhibits and seeing it brought back a lot of memories. There is no cost to go through the Village. My kids did the Enchanted Ice last year. They take skating lessons on real ice so they were not impressed with the plastic ice. I believe the cost is $4-$5 dollars with skate rental. Time in the ice is about an hour. The Polar Express is a ton of fun. It's a 15-20 minute ride that captures the action train sequence in a way like no other. The ride is jarring -- I bit my tongue the first time -- so be careful. You feel snow and smell the hot chocolate. It's a great experience. $6 per person. If you do all the attractions for a family of four, you're dropping some serious cash. The wait is ridiculous. But once you go through you may feel as I do that it is worth the wait. One other experience Jordan's offer is the famous Jordan Marsh blueberry muffins. They are delicious, but again very pricy.
I purchased a very expensive mattress just a year ago and it sags almost two inches in the middle. Called Jordan's who said they no longer deal with the manufacturer (wonder why?) and they could do nothing. Called the manufacturer and got little satisfaction….said if they found it defective they would replace it but I would pay the freight charge from Canada. Called Jordan's back and they will only offer me credit for half of the price of the mattress. This is a poor offer from such a large, lucrative company who prides itself on great customer service.
Jordan's is a great shopping experience. Each person I have dealt with has been patient and shows good knowledge of their product sets. The furniture itself is above average quality and Jordan's generally does a good job of picking quality suppliers. They are very easy to work with on repair or return issues upon shipment. The store itself has ample parking and the IMAX theater is state of the art and a great place to experience blockbuster type movies. The few downsides I can list are Kelly's, which has low quality food. Given the number of Jordan's shoppers you would expect it to be packed, but it never has long lines, a statement on the food. Many people don't go more than once. I really wish they would kick out Kelly's and put in a nice Panera Bread. The other downside, and this is really a problem at every movie theater, is the volume of the sound system. Its loud enough to make young children cry. Seriously, this level of noise cannot be healthy. Our simple solution is to bring -35dB ear plugs and this brings the noise level to acceptable levels. Otherwise the giant bright screen and comfy seating is a great place to see a film.
Although we have been here several times this is the first time I remembered to write a review. The concession area is very clean. There was not a long line so our group was not standing around waiting. They have a Keurig machine so you can get fresh coffee, along with the fresh popcorn. What always amazes me about this theatre is that it always seems so clean. Imax 3d is a great way to see a movie. We will definately go back
This furniture store is unique in that you walk thru a boardwalk kind of area with various points of interest. The different sections of the store are assessed via the boardwalk. Helpful staff are available to assist if needed or desired. This is a fun experience and the kids won't complain about going furniture shopping.
Was my first time to this store and it was amazing. I wish we had this chain where I lived. Saw a movie in a state of the art IMAX and browsed for furniture afterwards. Definitely will be looking forward to stopping in next time I'm in the area.
Okay, not as much Disneyworld with this Jordan's location. It is supposed to be like New Orleans including some live robotic Blues Brothers entertainment for the kids. The location does include a Kelly's Roast Beef which is cool, but when it really comes down to it like I have said before, all this hype is just furniture, quite nice furniture if you have a bank roll. Its set up nice but thats it. Nothing else except one room full of expensive TV's! Oh and the CEO Elliot still needs whitening toothpaste for his yellowish/green teeth. If you have ever seen a Jordan's commercial you will know what I am talking about!
A film, especially an adventure film, seen here is a much better experience than at a traditional theater... hands down. We saw Noah about a week ago, and Captain America (this one in 3D) this past weekend. Both great examples of films that are perfect for this type of venue. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I bought a set of couch as a gift to my bf and turned a nightmare . when I bought I ask the man who sold it , if it was leather and he said : the seat is leather the side isn't , okay I believed them , and I bought it and a extended warranty for 5 years if anything happen they will fix it , an he said the jordan's was responsibly for the insurance policy . My bf doesn't have pet , kids to do any damage in the sofa . Passed 4 years," the supposed leather seat ", started to peel . I called them and explain what was going on with the sofa . TOOK ALMOST 6 MONTH TO DAY GIVE A ANSWER , because I was calling everyday and she , maria sousa , said the lost the photo I sent to them , and I sent the photo again , again and again .....the answer was we didn't to get it . After all they said the sofa wasn't leather , the name of the factory responsible for the sofa the name was genuine leather . REALLY? they didn't care at all . I asked to talk with the owner and she was being so mean with me , she said he will not waste his time calling me . she said the only thing she could do is giving me $175 dollars in credit at the store . they lie to you sell and be rude when you have the right to complain . I just hope you can read it before you buy anything there . the same way the said they recorded the conversation , I said to her I was doing too and I CAN prove it . In jordan's doesn't have secretes , HAVE LIARS.
Buyer Be aware!!!!You make a purchase at Jordan's Furniture in Framingham Ma. and try to get you money back if you cancel within a few hours. I wrote a check and they use the ACH ITEM system which means they get the money right away. They refuse to give YOUR money back for 2 weeks. I will never do business with this company again and will tell everyone I know to shop somewhere else.
I recently purchased one of their better quality pieces of furniture. The salesperson pushed very hard to sell me the furniture protection plan for an extra 11%. She made me feel as though the furniture would fall apart and I would be up a creek if I didn't have it. I never buy extended warrangies or protection plans, but i caved to the pressure. After the sale I went online to the BBB and read the complaints about this plan. At that point I had no problem calling and cancelling the plan. In the meantime I went to take delivery of my new furniture and things did not look so good. The furniture was wrapped in cardboard and plastic. However it looked like they dragged it behind the truck. Sure enough, the furniture inside was damaged. I can't understand why they would attempt delivery on something that was obviously damaged.
Amazing. Totally worth the drive to experience a movie in this theater. The sound is awesome - and the visuals are unlike any other theatre. One tip - Go early enough to avoid sitting way too close to the screen!
For $50.00+ I bought one pillow and went back and bought 2 more. They are fantastic. Number 1. Free show there too.
If furniture is your focus on entering Jordans you may be surprised on entering to find youself on a New Orleans srteer heading for a Mardi Gras celebration! Lights!Music!and a regularly scheduled mini show- all well presented complete with bright necklaces to go.Mjultiple entrances to varied styles of fu tniture tempt you to leave the show. Don't forget to eat at Kellys for a gteat toast beef sandwich. Bring the kids!
