Am Naledi from south Africa I would really love to visit night shift coliseum great stuff see you soon *wink*
If you are visiting Nigeria (mostly Lagos) for the first time ever and looking for fun places to go on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Looking for any recommendations of bars, clubs, and lounges where there's a good music, good lively fun crowd, and safe place to be it's Coliseum (Night Shift). I am a Lagos man and Coliseum is my choice because it's the only night club where your safety is guaranteed. The drinks keep flowing until 6am!! Lots of fun party people. The night stars as from 10 p.m, but the best time to get there is like 12a.m and beyond. (Rotimi Ohio)

I always love going to the Niteshift Coliseum, mainly becuase of the security and ambience (its one club you that allows you your space so there are no univited personalities all in your face ). Nevertheless i noticed that even though one would usually see the big wigs , and oldies there, as a youth it is one respectable place that i enjoy , you also get to meet celebrities and other youngstars just out to have fun: The music is good , the clientele is responsible , (note they do have a dress code but i guess its not too restrictive) so i guess it is actually a bit for the young and a lil' bit for the old .........Its been raving for 20 years now , and it looks like its here to stay: Kudos to management
Went to Coliseum three weeks ago and had quite a good night. Got there round midnight which was way too early as it didn't really fill up till 1.30. Entry was NGN 2,000 but once inside the drinks were not unreasonable. Think local Star beer was NGN 700 which is not outrageous for Lagos. Even the snacks were moderately priced and not bad at all. The place is quite stylish and with the exception of the toilets could be anywhere in the world. Tables arranged round a dance floor/stage. Once the place filled up it rocked. Good mix of clientele from young clubbers to some big shot looking guys. Not sure why there were no other whities, I guess it is not on the island. Not sure if it was the owner or the manager, but he was extremely attentive. He ensured i did not get bothered by the hookers and kept the table private.Left around 4.30 with tired feet but a good experience. Of course what followed was intense haggling with the taxis outside, so getting there with arranged transport would have been better. All in all a great night in a good club.
Been hanging out at the Niteshift since 1999. It is the safest, snazziest and about the best niteclub in Africa. It is a place where you can catch a glimpse of CEOs, top politicians and captains of industry jigging it on the dancehall.Young upwardly mobile professionals and journalists are also regular feature of the club owned by Ken Caleb Olumese a.k.a Gu'vnor.Located in Opebi valley, in the heart of Ikeja the capital of Lagos State, niteshift coliseum is a cool place to hangout.
