aegiali beach

The sand isn't in perfect condition but that's what makes it special, especially watching the sunset after a little meditating session. It was definitely not dirty!!! I was there in mid October and the temperature was perfect. I liked the fact that there weren't lines of sunbeds (although this could be different in mid summer) and at the back of the beach there were lines of tables to eat and drink - perfect to take in the tranquility.There was a wedding on the beach whilst we were there and we were lucky enough to be offered a glass of wine and food to join in with the celebration. The beach - the village - the whole island, felt a very safe place to be for ladies. I feel I shouldnt be writing this because I'd hate the place to become too crowded and spoilt.

The beach is dirty and not being taken care of, with segments (at the segment occupied by Lakki Village Hotel) it is covered with dead sea weed.

That's the whole of Aegiali not just the beach - but to sit on it and watch the sungo down behind Naxos in the distance is pretty special - we have island hopped a fair bit but now decided we are just coming back here ! It has everything from yoga and massages, a health food shop and European football for my husband!

On the vilalge of Aegiali, one of the sandy beaches of Amorgos. Beatifull, not very crowded, hot water and bars and Taverns on the vicinity

all along this seducing beach a portion of what the egean sea can give at its best! clear water (except when the weather is hard or too windy) hot water… the view of the 3 villages when you are swimming is superb and unforgettable

Nice sandy beach but gets fairly busy near the town. Also sea gets quite choppy when windy. Water lovely and clear.

Sand and pebble beach in Aegiali, safe for swimming, not much shade apart from the odd tree. Ideal for those staying in Aegiali. Restaurants and bars near by.

The one of the better beaches of the island, not great but good with "clean" waters even if it is near the port where the ships stop. No shadow and the su is really intense, so use your suncream and have always with you

Aegiali beach starts from the small town of Aegiali. There are some restaurants under the trees, serving excellent food. The waters are very clear, and it is sandy.

It is one of the longer beaches in the Greek islands. Two big plus points are its closeness to the village and the large tamarisk trees behind it which provide a lot of shade.

Who is searching for quitness, silence, relax time and very nice restaurants directy to the beach ...

We spent a lot of time on this beach because it was close to our hotel and our daughter liked it. It is a sandy and nice beach but we think it could be cleaner. We liked it especially in the afternoon when we suggest having a coffee there.

Not the cleanest (by Amorgos standards-which are very high), but quite acceptable, sandy and very conveniently located.If you don't have your own transportation, it is a very reasonable choice that doesn't disappoint.

We came here every day to have a drink, relax, and enjoy the views. It's right on the beach, with plenty of shade. Great music. No problem to go for a swim and come back for your drink

Loved just sitting at the little beachside cafes and watching the children play on the sand and in the water. Gentle waves and clear beach. Relaxed atmosphere and fantastic views.
