And great mountain restaurants! Could be windy but worth it. The lifts back from Zermatt are either a long t bar or a very big queue in the telecabine.
Good lift system and well groomed slopes in a valley that often gets very good snow conditions. In early Dec it was one of the few ski areas open with the ability to ski to the village. Coupled with this it has easy access to the extensive Zermatt region.
Lovely pistes with good snow ,and not too much overcrowding . We had a good time, even though conditions weren't always good .
The slopes were wide and long and well groomed. Good snow but piste closed completely one day due to high winds which we were told the resort is prone to. The toilets on the slopes (a hole in the ground) are a disgrace in this modern age and will prevent us from returning
All abilities on the same piste, very dangerous, poor toilet facilities on slopes. Read review on Sertorelli Hotel.
Fantastic snow great slopes for all levels a good variety of mountain restaurants.Great Apres ski the Dragon pub was a favourite having happy hour
We spent five days of skiing in Breul-Cervinia. There are some excellent pistes as soon as you start finding your way around and the focus is on red pistes. The area should also be really good for families. The lifts are quite moderna and only one or two old and slow ones till remain (if you dont count the t-bars on the glacier).I would love to come back and ski the area after a snowfall since there seem to be an enormous amount of great off-piste skiing.
Especially for beginners and intermediates with links to Zermatt and Valtournenche. Good lift system, few queues, well groomed pistes. My sixth visit, it never fails to deliver. Village is not very attractive, but has a good range of restaurants and bars for all types of clientèle.
We have been to this place lots of times and we still love coming here the skiing is good the slopes are wide and long runs and well maintained and a wide area to ski.
This is a great resort, high so loads of snow. Usually free from kift lines. There is so much great riding here I wouldnt bother with the link toZermat at all. The lifts to get you back to Itay are often not running, the snow is not as good, its busy with people who seem to think they are more important then the other self important people...
On my recent trip to Cervinia which is a lovely mountain town in Italy, had a bad experience when trying to learn Snowboard.I decided to take Snowboard classes. I ended up finding this instructor named Liza with blue eyes and not quiet tall from Scuola di Sci Cervino. I booked for 2 classes. Short after started she warned me as her snowboard was new and expensive so i had to be very careful!!!! How can i be soooo careful when i dont know how to snowboard and pay for that to learn!!!! And if you are that bothered for snowboard why the heck you brought it to a beginner class?!!So from start to end she was just so aggressive; i couldnt stand and cancelled the class!! I went to School to complain as expected "Oh, sorry this is first time, we haven't had this situation before." That's all i was told!I am writing this to inform people to be more careful and selective on the choices. Of course its too hard to know who is good and bad but at least forums can help to get an advise. Moreover i'm surprised nobody has fluent English. So this makes communication harder than blood from a stone!Anyway try to enjoy.
The whole area is suitable for all ability of skiers. There is usually somewhere you can ski even if the weather is not too good i.e. snow or windy
Beautiful resort, loads of snow, fantastic scenery, plenty of good bars and places to eat.....just lovely.
Great snow conditions,Long, wide well pisted runs.Good lift network.Highest ski lift in europe, over four thousand metres with a superb wide red run down to the village
Fabolous range of long and wide blue and red runs. Very suitable to all levels of skiers. Weather wasn't great for our particular week but that's an occupational hazard so to speak.
