This museum needs more time than you think to see and appreciate. One could easily spend a half day to see everything. The minerals exhibits are fascinating. Good for all ages to enjoy and learn. Go if you are anywhere close by.

We are very sorry to hear about your poor experience. The Museum presents exhibits based on currently accepted science. Also, the Solar House has limited hours as listed on our website. Did you visit during Solar House operating hours?

We are happy to address those concerns for you:The orientation film, which is included in the price of admission, is based on currently accepted science.The galleries at Tellus Science Museum are designed to appeal to all ages and teach a range of information. The Weinman Mineral Gallery offers a wide variety of exhibits on geology, mineralogy, gems, gold, mining and mineral uses, and Georgia minerals, and many consider it the best in the Southeast if not the country. In the Science in Motion gallery, there are some reproductions, but most automobiles and aerospace artifacts are original including those from NASA and the Smithsonian.Lastly, we are sorry that you feel our admission prices are unacceptable. Our rates are at or below those of similar cultural and educational attractions and admissions help support the educational mission of Tellus. The planetarium is indeed an extra charge, same as other museums with planetarium and Imax films. In addition to the virtual night sky, the planetarium offers a variety of programs daily on astronomy, space exploration, Earth science, and many more.Again, thank you for your honest feedback.
