van duzer vineyards

Second vineyard we have visited since returning to Oregon from living in New Zealand. Nice tasting room and not so busy that we couldn't visit with Justin. Could have done with a flight of reds only but... Ended up buying a Pinot Gris and signing up for their wine club! May not be Central Otago pinots but very nice.

This was my 2nd visit to Oregon wine country and absolutely had to make it back to Van Duzer. We weren't disappointed either... delicious wines, excellent service by Danielle and beautiful view! We can't wait for our wine club orders to ship in the upcoming year!

On a trip to the coast, our travels took us to this vineyard via a small green sign. This was the best experience we have ever had at a vineyard. We opted for the wine tasting and ended up buying a bottle of wine that was different than we expected. Steve was awesome and helped us out greatly. He had a great deal of knowledge not only with the wines we were tasting but also with other facts that helped make the experience that much better.

Van Duzer has a wide array of wines, including some dessert wines. My personal favorite is the flagpole block pinot noir. It's a consistenly great wine every year. The pours in the tasting room tend to be a little small, but we're there for tasting, not drinking, right? The grounds are beautiful and the scenery is outstanding. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy some time in the grass.

You can't beat the scenery when you visit the Oregon wine country. This particular vineyard was excellent and enjoyed our tasting very much.

Van Duzer sits atop a big hill, and their deck has great views. The wines are good, but a bit pricey. The tasting fee is $10 which applies towards a purchase, but most wines are in the $30 range. We liked it, but thought it was a little too high.

This winery tasting room not only has very tasty wines, but it is a lovely building set in beautiful countryside with great views. The specialize in pinot noir, but also have a very nice riesling. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

First time to Van Duzer. Excellent offerings. Bought several bottles to take home...each a hit with our friends.

Went here for Memorial Day weekend, and while the wine and food were good, the staff was very uppity and basically ignored us, even when asked a direct question.

Nice winery with familiar wines, a nice tasting room with terrific views of the vineyard. Not only tasting, but small trinkets for purchase also. It can get pretty crowded, which I don't care for. We didn't find the wines to be of the caliber we were expecting. Overall, I would not drive out of my way to visit.

Best wines on our tastings of a handful of wineries in the area. Beautiful grounds and views. Chardonnay and Pinor Noirs notable. Nice people.
