OK place to visit for the Bonnie & Clyde memorabilia, very cool. Beside that not too much. Cheap blackjack and reasonably priced tables otherwise. Did not stay in hotel or eat at the restaurant. It was doing a good amount of business on a Sunday evening. Worth the visit. I would return.
Casino okay. Great displays of Bonnie and Clyde with a lot of original memorabilia. The latter worth the visit.
I stopped by Whisky Pete's on my way home to see the Bonnie and Clyde Memorabilia. The "death car" is on display and there are tons of articles and pictures hanging up. It was fun to read everything. This is alongside the casino which appeared to be lively. I did not stay there for very long, just long enough to look at the display. If you happen to be passing through Primm, it's worth a look.
For employment reasons I stay here on far too regular basis. Worst place ever. Even the employees feel the place should be bulldozed. There is always something wrong with the rooms. You learned to live with the poor conditions because it used to be cheap. Now they have the gall to up the rate $6.00?? for resort fees?? There is not a person on earth that would consider this a resort! Got a room one time with the air conditioner missing! Housekeeping did not notice the hole in the wall. Do not stay in north tower. Bathtubs not sealed so water runs under tub. Unless you like surfing in the shower, stay away from those rooms. Anyone who rates this place higher than terrible has to be affiliated with Affinity Gaming.
We didn't stay at Whiskey Pete's. We did walk around looking at all the old Bonnie & Clyde memorabilia. It's kind of like a museum. Reminds me of the old Western movies and TV showes. Minus the slot machines of course.
Okay, you always hear that you get what you pay for, and Whiskey Pete's is very inexpensive. However, there are at least another dozen casinos along the I15 corridor between California and Arizona that are about as cheap. I found this place on the low end of that selection. The good: the staff was really friendly, and the room was okay. Also, they have the Bonnie and Clyde car, and another old car, in the lobby. The bad: I spent an hour in the casino and wasn't offered a drink even once. The whole place is run-down and rather dirty. The TV only had a few channels, and none good. And they charged a $6 "resort fee", which is okay in Vegas when there is a resort, but seemed comical here.
Right on the border of California and Nevada, with great prices, iHOP, McDonald's, and close to other nice restaurants and attractions, including a roller coaster and tram to retail outlets. Rooms are clean and comfortable. (Plumbing seems a bit old, though) Great exhibit on Bonnie & Clyde that keeps you staring. Gotta see it for yourself.
Been here 100's of x's. it has a certain 'gaming' smell. A fun and unique ventriable gaming hall, wreeks of decades of heavy cigarettes and desperation. I did win a small amount $36. paid for my tank of gas. Did not stay in the hotel. visited the casino en route from mesquite. Fun casino. Cheesy. smoking permitted.
We didn’t stay at either of the hotels in Primm as we were traveling in our motorhome, but we did spend some time at all the casinos there. It was very frustrating that there is a charge for the internet everywhere in this town. Apparently all the casinos are owned by one company and they have a strangle hold on the internet here. Even the McDonalds in Whiskey Pete’s didn’t have free internet. We were very disappointed and left earlier than we had planned. We would stay here again, but only for an overnight.
We like staying at this hotel cuz it's smaller and less crowded. The stay was very relaxing and the hotel staff was very nice. The room was a good size room and clean. We did some gambling and the cocktail waitress were very nice and service was pretty quick. We only had one problem and one of the afternoon server had an attitude, no smile and she had brown hair. We tried to stay away from her so were could get drinks from the other waitress. Also, there is an IHOP and a McDonald's inside this hotel which makes it nice for a quick bite. The one thing that doesn't make sense is the pool area is open on weekends only during day hours but I would stay here again!
Went just for the night, had some drinks, did alittle gambling, shopping, dining. It was a quick fix to get away from home and relax, we will always come back , its a great way to unwind and great for your money, I especially love the monthly offers
On my last trip, this hotel was really out of date, but upon visiting the hotel this time with all the new renovations, the place did a complete 180 and has a lot more character now.
No one was there! The whole casino had maybe 50 people counting workers. If you like to just gamble and nothing else this place may just work for you.
This was an interesting casino to visit. They have Bonnie and Clyde's "death car" on display and a very detailed accounting of their lives. The car is enclosed in glass, but it was really neat to see. The casino is an older one, full of charm.
You only need about an hour at Whiskey Pete's. The gaming is fun and the bar id friendly. You can go to IHOP, McDonalds, or grab a $ dog at the bar.
