the creation station fabric and quilt shop

Patrick and his family are very nice, and treated us very well. We made our second visit, which is no small feat considering we're from Australia. Very helpful, a great range of items, and good prices, lots of which we can't get in Australia. I'm not into craft, but my wife and daughter are, and they both loved it. Needless to say, we spent a bit here.

Not only can you find EVERYTHING you need here, you get to have the experience of Dawn and Patrick! I don't think you can find two people as passionate about helping their customers than these two. They not only make you feel right at home, but always have good advice and a quick smile! I was able to attend the "First Annual Gingerbread House Experience" this past weekend and it was AMAZING! It kept my 6 year old grand daughter busy and focused for over TWO HOURS! AND she loved every minute! *Patrick...do ya like the way I worked in my hope for you to do this again next year?* Overall, if you craft or quilt, do NOT pass through Buellton without stopping here!

Dawn and Patrick have made this a very fun place to visit and pick up supplies. I, myself, am not a quilter, but if I was, I'd never leave this place. The owners have made this a very fun and friendly place to shop!

This is off the beaten path in Buellton, but if you like sewing, or arts and crafts or discovering a great little shop, this one is worth the drive out of Solvang to see something besides a souvenir tee shirt shop on your vacation.

The Creation Station Fabric and Quilt Shop is a must stop for everyone. This is an AMAZING place that goes WAY beyond a fabric store and is a must see. The quilts are displayed among antique beds, a 100 year old crib, hairdryers from the 50s, and lots of furniture. There are ladders hanging from the ceiling, and there is a huge collections of sprinklers. I know it sounds strange, but once you see it, you'll know why its so cool! The walls are fashioned after country rooms with antique appliances that belong to grandma. Sometimes there is a line for the bathroom, because people have to see it! It has hanging wisteria, and hand painted poetry! They have a long arm right out front so you can see how quilts are finished. VERY inspiring and very educational.
