the crossings golf course

This is a good course for an intermediate player. Its a challenging course and will use all the clubs in your bag. Bring plenty of balls because if you lack control the course penalizes you with all kinds of lost ball hazards. The staff is divided from the front desk to the food area. Dave at the front desk is a great golfer and highly professional - he knows golf. The manager is soft spoken and professional. The kitchen staff which has been known to be abrasive at times has changed hands to an awesome pair of guys that bend over backwards to please you. They'll make anything too. This is what brings me to this course, you come here enough and they recognize loyalty. Thanks!!

The Crossings is actually pretty easy to get to and the staff is friendly....some of the holes, not so much. There are challenges out there, but it really is a fun course just off of Hwy 98. Decent track, decent price, and not overwhelming for the average golfer - well worth the drive

Greens and fairways were in good shape for winter golf. Price to play was excellent. Conveniently located at 8 to 10 miles from hotel (Sleep Inn). Would recommend this golf course to anyone traveling down South.

I was visiting the area and joined a group of players to play a round at twilight. The other three played from the black tees, I played from the whites. The course is quite open, but it certainly does offer some challenges for all skill levels. As all three of the other players had played it before, they were able to give me some good advice on when to layup and where to land the ball. All the people working at the course seemed to be quite friendly and the course was in good shape. The greens on the front were in excellent shape, but some of the greens on the back nine were "bumpy" due to heavy use and the growth of the grass during the day. If I played again, I would pay the extra money and play earlier in the day.

This course is in good shape and the people are friendly. The value is great and it cost only around 20 bucks to play 18 holes. The only problem is that there is no driving range.

My daughter and I went out one afternoon to play nine holes. We had a great time. We love in the neighbor but never played until now. Open fairways, but challenging at times. It has a bit of everything.

The Crossings is a golfer friendly course just East of the city in a lovely wooded setting. It provides hills, water and woods to keep golfers of all abilities interested and challenged. In addition there is a good cafe and lounge to allow you to relax and regroup before or after your round. One of the good surprises here is the cost. This course is a great value. Golfer friendly and inexpensive is a great combination in these days of slow and expensive rounds of golf.Try The Crossings. you will be happy you did.

This course is very challenging and worth the time to play here. Before you go rest well and be ready for a great day of golf, and a very challenging course. Lots of fun here, enjoy!

Dave, the head pro at The Crossings, couldnt have been nicer. The guy is a real charmer. He took care of our entire group and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The staff at the grill is equally kind and quick to serve. The course is kept in excellent condition and is challenging but fair.

I have played this course quite a few times in the past. I was never crazy about the layout of the course. It has a few gimmicky holes I don't for, but the rest of the course is good.

Course is typically in great shape (although not so much in March of 2012). Interesting design. I'm a decently long hitter but not REALLY long and only use my driver 2 times on the front 9. You will use most of the clubs in your bag and there are some great risk reward shots to be had. I think this is a great value and worth playing. No driving range.

This course has to rate as one of the best in the area. The greens are the best I have played on this year. The course makes you think about every shot. If you want to challenge your game you must play this course
