buffalo trace park

we love camping here. the beach is nice. the kids all the time to go to buffalo trace park. great place for family

There's not much in Palmyra. But Buffalo Trace Park is worth a visit, especially in warm weather months. It's a good location for camping. It's worth the trip for out-of-towners. It's peaceful and quiet but still close enough to visit places like Corydon and Louisville. The fishing is nice. We enjoy catching bass and catfish. There are grills and tables available if you want to feast on your catch right away or just have a picnic in the park. There is a family swimming area, a play area and a petting zoo to keep the kids entertained. There are areas for sports including a softball field. You can get your exercise walking the path around Coleman Lake and taking a rest stop in the gazebo. The fall colors are spectacular. So keep a camera handy anytime you visit. We've been here many times. And we'll keep coming back.

Great camp spot, even a couple cabins brand new smell still that if you don't want to rough it and don't have a rv or camper should check into renting. Swimming,fishing canoes and paddle boats are just a few key attractions along with one of the areas top disc golf courses as the cherry on top.You choose to visit I'd bet you will return.
