I have been a repeat client of Gulien's Massage and Salt Room in Palmyra, PA for many years. The massage therapist, Eve, provides the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. Her professionalism and technique applying the right pressure to untangle the knots is superb. The spa is very clean and provides a calming and relaxing atmosphere. I have also tried the Salt Room when I had a sinus infection and having 3 treatments within 1 week seemed to alleviate the sinus pressure and shorten the length of the infection. I would highly recommend checking out their services.

So glad to have found this little hidden gem. My husband and I booked a couples massage followed by a salt room halotherapy session for our bi-annual trip to Hershey - this time celebrating my birthday. In the past, I've gone to the decadent Spa at Hotel Hershey, but since (like most establishments) they treat pregnant women like a walking lawsuit and forbid you from partaking in the majority of the treatments that are perfectly safe for you and baby, I sought out a nearby location that would give me more than just an over-priced swedish massage "dressed up" to be "pre-natal".The owners at Gulien were so friendly and helpful in crafting our perfect day-spa experience. Our massages were heavenly - we both got exactly what we needed for our bodies, and the added benefit of being in the same room together made it a romantic, re-connecting experience. We followed our massages with a halotherapy session in the salt room. We've been in both salt caves and salt rooms before, and this salt room is the best of both! It is small and intimate, yet exceptionally well appointed with a color therapy salt window and a flat screen TV showing relaxing ocean scenes so you feel like you are in a room with a view of tropical paradise.Best part of all - the price for our entire couples massage and salt room sessions (about a 2 hour long experience) was about what I would have paid for just myself to have a 50 minute "therapeutic hour" pre-natal massage at the Hotel! We look forward to making this a regular part of bi-annual trips to the Hershey area!
