I've been taking my son here for several years now. He enjoys it, but there are times when it is pretty crowded. On rainy days or during holiday weeks, I've had trouble finding a place to sit while he plays. I'm a teacher, and I like to take papers with me to grade. I see other parents reading, watching t.v. and eating. The food is mediocre. They have overpriced flavored coffee, but don't waste your money on it. It's some sort of powdered stuff and it is not worth the money they charge. There are only two stalls in the women's bathroom, and there is often a line to use them. The cleanliness of the bathroom is a concern. Each time I've been there, it has been in need of a good scrubbing. Right now, the best thing this place has going for it is the laser tag. There are specials on their website and there are nights when the laser tag area is open longer than the play area, and kids get "unlimited" laser tag games--this is misleading, though. The games are not "unlimited." They give out wristbands, and kids have to wait until their color wristband is called. In three hours, my son got three games of laser tag. Most of the time he was just sitting or standing around waiting for his team to be called. (It costs extra to add on the play structure to the laser tag deal, and we didn't spend the extra cash.) Overall, this is a fun place, especially for kids under ten. There is a bounce house area, the giant play structure and the laser tag. It is fun for kids of all ages. My frustrations, though, are with the area for the parents. There are long tables for big groups, but for those of us who come alone, there are not as many options. There are big, comfy looking chairs near the play structure, but I've never had a chance to sit in one of them. They're taken quickly. I guess you need to get here when the place opens to snag a good place to sit. I live over an hour away, though, so we usually don't make it here until mid-afternoon.

Today we visited Castaway, and our experience was MORE then AMAZING!!!The night staff was completely accommodating! My children stopped in to take advantage of the 4-9 pm Unlimited Laser Tag, Unlimited Bounce Houses, Unlimited Play Structure, Personal Pizza and Pop for only $20. The staff treated my children like queens as they wore them completely out playing along with the kids, (since it was a slow night). This remained a memorable experience even after they arrived home.My kids also couldn't get enough, as the staff is not shy to jump in and play too, going beyond their call of duty to making the kids feel so welcome. I must also add the $2.00 Ice Cream Sandwich's alone are worth a stop in ....even if your just in the area, passing by and looking for a tasty treat! The size of the sandwiches blew me away as they had to be the size of my daughters head...not to mention the excitement they had picking out their favorite cookie and toppings..."how cool"...I very rarely write reviews, but I was impressed that I couldn't help but share our amazing experience..."Thanks Castaway"And if your wondering....NO, I'm not a paid advertisement nor an employee...

I've been here many times, and I even had my son's birthday here. No, I don't love coming here, but my kids do- once in a great while. I'm sure it's not the cleanest structure, but are any of them? Just take precautions- sanitize your little ones when they are finished playing. We forgot our socks, and they gave us a pair free. I don't think this is usual, but we just got lucky. They have expanded the tables, so you will likely find a place to sit, even if it's not a lounge chair. Food is okay if your hungry enough, and not overpriced. My kids can't get enough of the main play structure and the bouncy structures. It's great exercise- something kids don't get enough of these days.

Ok let's face it, you only go to these type of places for kids. So, as an adult, if you expect to be pampered and waited on hand and foot you will be disappointed. Younger kids (10 and under) will love this place. Laser tag is fun for one round and the younger ones can play on the structures. You have to time it right. Sometimes it can be too busy but sometimes you can bring a book or some work to do while the kids blow off some steam. Eat before you come and sneak your own bottled water in. They make their money on the concessions. Once your kids hit preteen this place is no longer cool, it's too "baby"...so just keep in mind age ranges. A lot of fun for the younger set and worth the trip.

My Grandson loves this place to climb and run on all the structures. Pizza is okay, and plenty of room for resting and enjoying watching him run all over the place. Lounging chairs are great for the adults to sit and watch.

Food is over priced and terrible. Great fun for the kids. Tough to find a place to sit with all the coats left on the chairs. Lots of lounge chairs with nobody sitting in them. Kids dump their coats and go okay while adults search for a seat

Decided to have my child's 2nd birthday party here, was worried it was a bit pricey and many mediocre reviews but we loved it! We had toddlers- teenager guests and everyone was happy. Play structure and bounce for the young and laser tag for the older ones. Teenage Staff was on top of everything and made it a fun party. Pizza was a hit and we ordered the fruit tray that was better than expected! Facility was clean for as busy as it was on a Saturday. The cost was reasonable for the amount of things covered in the party package. We will definitely be back.

I have taken my 4 year old grand daughter here recently after staying away for almost a year. There seems to be an improvement in the cleanliness of the whole area. I still do not recommend even the toddler area to friends, it is a free for all even in that area and my grand daughter was knocked down last year when we were there. More supervision would improve the environment. My grand daughter loved the bounce area!! So fun for her! The food is VERY expensive . Admission is $7.50

I have been here on a couple occasions with my niece and nephew. First, the place is SOOO overpriced. Get ready to pull out the credit card because this place is going to cost you. There is an initial entrance fee that covers the climbing playground. However, laser tag, games, or any other activity costs additional per person, per game. Second, the equipment and play centers are dirty, gross, and falling apart. Some of the climbing mesh is literally held together with yarn. Vinyl is held together with duct tape, and everything is dirty! Bring hand sanitize to dose yourself and your kids with if you do venture to this place. The place always has the heat cranked as well, so if your kids are climbing at the top of the play space, they are going to come down that slide soaked in sweat. All of this I might be able to overlook however if it wasn't for the terrible management. I was standing in line waiting to order some drinks for the kids and there was a family in front of me. The kid working behind the counter was probably 16 at the oldest. The family ordered souvenir cups for their kids with different soda in each one. The kid rang them up for the ridiculously over priced cups. The manager was standing behind him and started screaming at him that he had to charge for the actual soda too. I'm not kidding, she went off on this kid in front of everybody. It was awkward and embarrassing and shows how much of a rip off this place is. They charge $4.00 for a very tiny, kids sized, souvenir cup, and then charge another couple bucks to put the actual soda in it. At that point, I put my money back in my pocket, grabbed the kids, and we left and had lunch across the street at the Coney Island. I won't be going back again.

3 kids had a great time and burned some energy. Went to snack bar for a treat and had good, real ice cream at a reasonable price.

This is a nice place for kids to play and for parents to relax. I like that there are comfy leather couches and chairs for the parents, the food is not overpriced and the staff was very friendly. My six year old grandson loved it.

As a dad with two young kids, Castaway Play is an excellent place for the kids to let off steam. It's the kids that matter here...if they are enjoying the place then so be it for all the other negative reviews. I've been to similar locales in the UK and in India and Castaway is the best one I've been too. I like the free Internet for checking work emails, the food is to be as expected - the kids love it. There's plenty of sitting space but get their early if you want to get a comfy sofa. Otherwise, watch out for wet spots from spilt drinks. Overall, it's a decent place...

we went on a sunday afternoon there werent to many people there and theres a LOT to do there couches are soft its like being at home kinda and the staff was super nice. the food was good too I like how other people there were nice too. the arcade was fun me and my husband played the connect 4 lol there doing some renovations right now so it was a bit dusty. but other than that the place was pretty clean. well as u can expect hahaha with so many little hands touching everything. was cheap too we spent a good part of the day there and only spent i think 40 bucks? thats admitions food drinks games they got toys idk was pretty cheap i thought for how much fun it was. i think im going to do my daughter birthday there, but i dont think it would have been nice to go on a saturday. that just screams way to many kids sunday was perfect. FYI if u got older kids and dont think what day u go matters but if u got little ones like i do smaller crowds on less busy days are much better, but thats anywhere mcdonalds even has that problem...

dirty, smells and employees are maybe 17 years old, I cringe every time someone tells us that scheduled a birthday party here and were invited.
