My son had an interview at William Carey and I had some time to scope out the town and the shopping. This mall is very well kept and everyone of the retail store clerks were very friendly. Hattiesburg has a college town feel due to the fact that William Carey and Southern Miss are both located here. A fine town and mall to enhance your university experience.
This mall has a fair number of stores, and most are very well kept. The atmosphere is warm and the numerous skylights aid in the open feel of the space. Overall, it's not the most spectacular mall, but the variety of stores are sure to cater to most.
Such a wonderful, family-friendly mall. On the weekends, it's a lot more busy, but during the week it's actually pretty quite. It was recently redone on the inside so it's very nice and new-looking.
The Turtle Creek Mall is surrounded by other strip centers which include Target, Kohl's, Office Depot, etc. The mall itself has good shopping including Sears, JC Penny's, Dillard's, and Steinmart. Food court is ok, or there are many restaurants nearby. Part of the shopping experience in Hattiesburg, but it is not the exclusive experience as nearby stores are also very good.
Main anchors include Sears, Belks, Penneys, and Dilliards. Good variety of stores are inside the mall. Also, nearby are other strip centers which include Target, Kohls, Books-A-Million, etc. Many good eating places near the mall. I have been in most malls south of Jackson, and this is the best.
I have never been fond of this mall. Its small and circular. But it fits the community. I found some nice jewelry on sale. So I was happy this visit.
Turtle Creek is a nice mall. I visit a friend in H'burg at least once a year and we always go to Turtle Creek for something! There is a play area with those big blow up trampolines to entertain the kiddos.
I have been to this mall a few times. A lot of the stores cater to nearby USM, but there is a larger than average Stein Mart and Dillards compared to what is available at home. Outside Stein Mart, is a trampoline area for the kids to play. Chuck E. Cheese is also anchored here.
