The theeatre is located in one of Essex counties original shopping malls. built in the 1960's the ,all has gone through many renovations and ,upgrades. The theatre is large and 'average' for a mulit plex.the seats are comfy and cushy. It's the smell of the greasy food, and the many spills on the floor that give this a YUCK!.My companion and I did not order any food...the greasy smell was not appealing...The servers was annoying, passing drinks, food, while the movie was playing...wnat dinner? go to a local joint!want popcorn and a movie..go to a theatre!..
A horrible experience. Waiter spilled ice cold water on me and they treated me like it was no big deal. " oh take this towel and sit down and shut up and watch the movie." True story
The cinema is nice. Selma was amazing. However, the food was soggy and smelly. I ordered the Buffalo chicken tenders and they were warm and soggy as well as the fries, soggy and cold. My brother had the jalapeño burger and said the cheese was nasty and made the burger smell funny. My mother had the blackened chicken Alfredo and the chicken was in all honesty cold as can be. This was my first time here and I thought it would have been a better experience. It didn't help that the food was also expensive as hell with each dish coming out to $13. Now I know what to tell people. Very disappointed.
This movie theater and it's staff are very slow. Why is that the people I was with got their alcoholic beverages before I got my bottled water that was highly over priced? The whole time people are talking to one another and the wait staff gets in the way of the screen (that's when they come to serve you or take your order). I like the traditional movie theater with popcorn and soda being purchased before the film.
there are kiosks, to avoid lines. In addition, the lounge chairs are exceptionally comfortable. Good value for the price. Dinner and liquor are also served, if wanted.
I should have come to this movie theater sooner than traditional ones.Yes it is a little more expensive for you can combined your dinner and movie outing to just one place The meal selections was good. There quesadillas, chicken tenders, popcorn, beer and other alcohol...so there are options.Seats recline all the way. They are like lazy boys. And there is room to walk comfortably without asking anyone to move if there're is need to go to the bathroom. The meal and staff and overall experience was great.
My family and I regularly go the Dine-in theatres. It is more expensive than a seat at a regular theater but the seats are comfortable and you aren't elbowing the person next to you. The menu is decent and the food has been good. However, caution on ordering the tickets if you have a teenager in tow. Cinema suites allows only 21+ even if you are accompanying your teenager. I am not sure why as they serve alcohol in both fork and screen and cinema suites. It is also not the rating of the movie since they freely show "R" movies in fork and screen.
Personally, I love going here because there's nothing better than enjoying a great meal while watching a film. The dine-in theater has great food and the alcoholic beverages are pretty good. The 21 and Over suites are the best because they have the reclining seats. The fork and screens are for family oriented movies so its more like a seat and table type of thing but still wonderful. Of course the tickets are pricey but you get what you pay for. Plus, if you plan on making mulitple trips to the dine-in theater get their AMC Stubs card you'll need it lol.
Great for dates! You can actually see a movie and dine at the same time without annoying anyone else. I was skeptical at first: can you really eat dinner without making noise and see a movie, and at the same time not encroach on anyone else? Well , the folks at AMC did it, and the food is very good to boot! I enjoy the food, service, and ambiance at the AMC Theater so much more than the FRIDAY'S just a couple hundred feet away. After you can enjoy drinks in the lobby or go to your favorite place.
OK, the price was right. Compare with the high end dine in places like Cinopolis. But Still ... not my cup of tea. If I am paying for food I want good service, relaxed and high end atmosphere, and good food.I'll use AMC for plain old moves and the higher end competition for dine-in.
This theater offers a couple of different experiences - Cinema Suites and Fork & Spoon. Cinema Suites is by far our favorite - big, comfortable, reclining seats with built-in cup-holders. Sliding trays for food. A decent food menu and a large selection of drinks, wine, beer. Service has always been polite and efficient. The other venue is ok, but not as comfortable overall. Cinema Suites really upgrades the whole movie experience.
My kids love to come to this theater for dinner and a movie. They bring the meal right to your seat while you watch. The service is always good and I love that I never have to miss any of the movie to get up to buy snacks or food during the show!
This theater(s) has an interesting-eating while you watch the movie. The selection is OK, prices a tad high, service from the waiters was quite good. It's a better version of being a couch potato with a super large screen with good sound to enjoy the movie.
Love the cocktail and big leather seat.... Hostess staff very helpful. Food was just ok remind me of Fridays or Applebee's
I've been to this one a few times, not bad at all. Prefer cinema suites because you don't have to deal with a bunch of noise. Seats are beyond comfortable.
