There is not a lot there but the signs tell about the fort's history. It is surrounded by the cemetery that is still used today. We walked all around and looked at the old headstones. Not a fancy place with a lot to see but good historic value.

This hallowed ground is impressive. No big fancy commercial, but to stand on the hill, seeing & hearing "OLD GLORY" reign is inspirational. Yes, it's simply great !

There is not much to see here but it is easy to get to and does not take much time to read the signage.

The history if Fort Williams is very interesting and I loved reading how it played in the Civil War. Additionally, the view of the surrounding cemetery from the hilltop is amazing and makes you want to contemplate the meaning of life. :-) It would be nice for the faded signs to be upgraded and a small paved parking area to be added to replace the ruts in the dirt and gravel.

Nice civil war era fort that will only take a few minutes of your day. The area looks neglected and the grounds dirty. If you have 15 minutes, it is worth a quick look.
