sea me paddle kayaking tours

My husband and I and our two daughters (aged 16 and 29) loved the 2 hour family kayak on Somer's Bay! We have been on guided kayaking trips a couple of times before in other parts of the country, but all agreed that this was our best kayak trip. Our guide Joli was very kind and confident. She made us feel totally at home on the water. Joli also told us about some of the birds we saw (osprey, loons, cormorants) as we were paddling, and filled us in on some history of the area. It was a chilly, misty morning, but it was just beautiful on the lake! I'm glad that we decided to go on the tour. It was perfect for us!

My friend and I were the first trip out this 2014 season in mid-March. There was still some ice on the water, and it was beautiful. B.J. had all the gear to keep us warm and informed us of history and information throughout the entire 2 hour trip. He had a great energy to him and it certainly helped us feel more comfortable going onto the winter water! I would recommend a trip with Sea Me Paddle to anyone, anytime. B.J. And Joli are one of the nicest couples you will ever meet. We are senior inexperienced kayakers that they took out on the two hour tour. BJ took the time to give us some basics before we went out and then gave us a tour of Somers Bay. I plan to go back during the week and rent for an hour in the bay at Lakeside and try the evening women's paddle as well....that is saying ALOT since I had never been in a single kayak before!They do lots more than just these 2 hour tours. My husband and I had booked a family paddle with SeaMe Paddle and had the best time of our entire vacation. We chose the family paddle two hour trip, everything from beginning to end was professional, organized and so much fun. Our guide BJ knew lots of information and made the whole experience beyond our expectations. We enjoyed it so much that both my husband and I have said we would want to do another vacation up to Montana just to do his overnight Kayak trip. Well worth the money and fantastic experience!!!
