Had the most exceptional time floating a gorgeous river in Alaska! Could not have asked for a more generous guide helping me out with all aspects of my fishing and catching lots of fish. Brad knows his fishing and could not have asked for a better experience! We saw multiple types of wildlife while floating as well. I will definitely return to fish with Alaska Kenai Fishing for Fun again.

The Day of Fishing on the Kenai River was a Highlight on our Alaska Trip. My husband is an experienced Fly Fisherman & I just went along for fun. But we had a ball and Brad made sure that I caught a fish also! Brad knows the river and really knows what he is doing. The smoked salmon he brought along to share with us for lunch was also delicious! It was a beautiful river and the scenery was beautiful also.

We booked our trip with Alaska Kenai Fishing For Fun and had the best time! Brad was very knowledgeable and made our trip memorable. He took the extra time to show us how to cast properly, which helped when it came to catching lots of fish. We had a very successful day on the river and great weather too. Brad picked us up our cabin which was convenient and pointed out the sights as we floated to our fishing destination. I highly recommend booking with Brad if you are looking for a fun time, you will not be disappointed!

What a wonderful day we had with Brad! The sun was out (which we know he can't control, but I am willing to give him credit for!), the scenery was beautiful, the guide was knowledgable and funny, and we even had success fishing! You can't ask for much more than that. Being born and raised in Alaska, I assumed I was fairly educated on the area, but Brad mentioned many things about the area that was new information - my husband went for the fishing, I went for the relaxing day on the water. We returned to Cooper Landing for our 3rd trip in 4 years July 2014. This was our second time booking with Bradley. The fishing conditions were not favorable during the week we were there but we had an awesome time with Brad. We caught a few but not the numbers we had hoped for as we were a little early this year. What a great time though each time we went out! Good weather , bears sightings, and we even spotted a lynx crossing the river as we sat there and fished! Neither one of us knew they swam across large bodies of water like that. Not only is Brad a wonderful guide but he also has a great sense of humor. We sure laughed a lot and that's what makes our trips to Cooper Landing so fun. We enjoyed our trip and the time we spent with Brad and his family and are looking forward to our trip back in July 2015. And a trip to the Kenai is not complete without a day on the river with Bradley! Brad is the perfect guide even for those who have never fished a day in there life. And he is very knowledgeable about fishing the Kenai.

I've fished with several different guide in the past few years but found Brad to be by far the best. He is passionate about what he does and tries his best to make your fishing experience unforgettable. I'm booked for 2015. You will love the town of Cooper landing.

This was one of our highlights this summer on our trip to Alaska! There are so many different options but going with Brad at Alaska Kenai Fishing for Fun was definitely the best choice. He was a wonderful guide showing us things on the river, equipped us with everything we needed, taught us and assisted us when needed and was just an all around fun and nice guy to spend our afternoon with. The scenery was unbelievable and the trip was perfect in every way! We had never been fishing like this before and Brad really went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and to make sure that we had a great time. We spent a long time planning our trip to Alaska and this adventure was definitely everything that we had wanted it to be and more!!!

I have lived in Alaska most of my life, and can honestly say that my trip with Kenai Fishing for Fun was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences I have ever had. My friends and I were all treated to so much more than a mere boat ride. Our fearless leader, Bradley, is easily one of the most knowledgeable and friendly guides on the river. It is obvious he loves fishing and truly takes the time to share that passion with each of his guests. As far as quality of the fishing is concerned, we hooked into a plethora of fish - rainbows and salmon galore. Bradley allowed each of us to flex our fishing muscles at our individual skill levels, without ever making us feel like menial fishermen. The majestic backdrop of the Alaskan wilderness, coupled with the superior guidance of Bradley, provided a day I will never forget. It was more than I could have hoped for. I full-heartedly recommend this outfit to anyone who wants to take their fishing experience to the next level. Bradley’s expertise and calm cool demeanor make you feel immediately at home. Any novice fisherman will appreciate his helpful hints, as well as his extensive background of Alaskan lore. In short, Bradley sets you up for success while immediately making you feel as though you have been a long time friend. I look forward to future summers and hopefully being privileged enough to secure a much coveted day trip with Kenai Fishing for Fun.

Returning for our second trip in three years, the crew (5 family members) did not think we could out do our last trip. We were wrong! After a full week of fishing with Brad we shipped home over 175 pounds of sockeye and king salmon. Not only did Brad send us home with an incredible amount of fish, being the only trout bum in the group he was able to enhance my own experience by dedicating time to hooking me into beautiful Kenai trout. In addition, Brad is extremely helpful no matter what your experience level. I consider myself a decent angler, but for many in our group it is the only time of the year they will fish. Brad does an amazing job of accommodating both the beginner and expert. We will be returning soon to fish with Brad, that is for certain.

We fished a full day on July 30, 2014. Some of the best fishing I have ever experienced! The views traveling to our fishing spot were fabulous and worth the trip itself. Brads fishing expertise had us in the right spot with the right gear. He showed us the technique and gave helpfull hints as we began our day of catching fish. Caught too many fish to count! Came home with memories for a lifetime and our limit of Sockeye!

My boyfriend and I, along with another couple enjoyed a full day of "flossing" for Sockeye on the Kenai River at the end of July. Brad was a very courteous and friendly guide who helped us try to fulfill our limit of 3 Sockeye each for the day.We even stayed an hour extra when a big push of fish came through at the end of the day. It was a great day on the river. Thanks Brad!!!

Brad Kirr was our guide. He was on time and very personable. He provided all of the equipment and explained very clearly what we should do and expect on the river. We caught several nice fish under tough circumstances, which is a tribute to Brad's guiding abilities. brad could not have been better. I am counting down the days until we can go back. Definitely book a full day on the river. Time flies.

The day starts with Brad giving you waders. Then you go into the headwaters of the Upper Kenai in boat with no engine. Brad gives you some fishing instruction and then you are off on one of the most beautiful rivers with some of the best fishing available. Brad shared some smoked salmon from the previous year's catch and we enjoyed one of our best Alaskan days.None of our family fishes and our ages ranged from 45 (me) to 9 (youngest son). Brad made sure that everyone was comfortable and had fun. At one point we waded out for some additional fly fishing practice. We tried our hand at lures and fly fishing in one of the most astonishingly beautiful rivers in the world. For us, it didn't matter how many fish we caught. It was the atmosphere, the river, the learning, the landscape and the guide. Guides do not get any better than Brad. His easygoing manner, his teaching style, his sense of conservation, and the places he stopped along the way all made for one of our most memorable days. We enjoyed fantastic half day fishing trip with Brad on the upper Kenai river. Our family are not experienced fishermen, but we decided that since we were travelling through a prime fishing area, it would be great to experience fishing in the region. Brad responded quickly to my booking enquiry, and made it really easy to put together the trip. Brad was very passionate and enthusiastic about the fish and the river and made it great fun for all of us. He was great with our kids, and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Highly recommended. We had a great day on the Kenai River fishing with Brad. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We noticed other guides from elsewhere who just stayed in their boat and we're not as helpful as Brad. You could tell he had a genuine respect for the sport of fishing, river, and the fish. We highly recommend letting Brad guide you! We caught some nice trout on the river and had a blast.
