If you are planning a visit to Mohonk mountain house, plan a short round at Mohonk golf course. A nice 9 hole course in a beautiful setting. Tell them you are staying at the Mountain house.

Fees are very reasonable but you have to carry your clubs across the road to place on a cart. Course is in excellent condition with many hills and dales. Only a nine hole course but not busy so you can go around twice.

Enjoyable mountain side golf course - great views. Well kept greens and fairways. At times, mountain goat country but really enjoyable course.

built into the mountain! everything is sidehill, up hill, downhill lies!Greens are rolling and a ball can easily fall off!However, it is really fun and you can score well if you are careful!

But if you are just in it for the golfing, forget it.It is connected to Mohonk Mountain House, one of the best hotels in the NorthEast. It has a charming course, very low key, but don't go here just to golf.

i'm not much of a golfer, but it was fine for everyone in our group. convenient and the rental clubs are ok
